How do I detach the wristband?

Do I just need to bush out the connecting rods with a small clip ore something or is the process more elaborate? I don't want to damadge the rubber.

I used a metal roulade skewer and cut the sharped edge.

Work’s great for me.

You do have to be careful as they are very stiff initially, and if your implement slips, you may damage the rubber. But it's just a metal bar held in by friction, not a proper watch spring bar.
