Espruino is a JavaScript interpreter for low-power Microcontrollers. This site is both a support community for Espruino and a place to share what you are working on.

There is a problem with actual ESP-IDF. Guys from espressif moved some functions from ROM to flash. And added functions which are not used in Espruino.
There are some notes, that for next ESP-IDF version some of these should be better.
Lets wait and see, sorry but thats my actual status.
