Espruino is a JavaScript interpreter for low-power Microcontrollers. This site is both a support community for Espruino and a place to share what you are working on.

You would be sending a message to the Espruino at the other end, instructing it to set the PWM output to a specific duty cycle.
You do need a microcontroller on both ends.
