What is the scope of this forum?

I understand that talking about how how to write the code to control or do something with the Espruino and an external device is clearly on topic for these forums.

What about, however... general discussion about an external devices that one would control using a microcontroller? Would this sort of thing be considered off topic here? What forum would you all reccommend for this? As you might guess, I'm new to microcontrollers - writing C had scared me off before, so I don't really know what the go-to forum is for microcontroller discussion.

Pretty much anything electronics related is on-topic as far as I'm concerned - although I probably won't be able to help too much with non-Espruino stuff ;) There's the Interfacing forum for connecting stuff up to Espruino/microcontrollers, but I'm open to adding other ones if you think I've missed something out.

Tips:

Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----

To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word

To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word

That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:

Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
