Bangle.js nRF52832 Long Range Bluetooth?

Hello,

I've recently gotten a Bangle.js, and I'm really enjoying using it and writing apps.

At the moment, the biggest drawback I've faced is how the bluetooth connection to Gadgetbridge only really works when I'm in the same room as my phone.

I've noticed that the SoC Bangle.js uses supports something called "Long Range Mode". I have to imagine this is what other fitness trackers with the same SoC make use of, as my previous fitness tracker was able to stay connected across large distances.

I wanted to ask if anyone knew if Bangle.js was using this mode already? If not, could I modify the firmware on my own device to enable it? I'd personally be willing to accept reduced battery life for something like this.

Bluetooth Long Range / coded phy is not available on the nRF52832. Maybe you confused it with the nRF52833 (three at the end).
Or 52811, 52820, 52840, 5340, couple of chips were announced since the 52832 :)
