I guess it doesn't make much financial sense for @Gordon to attend these meetings, but still as a creator of the most successful (in my eyes) JS engine|interpreter, he should have a say.
It may also be in Espruino's interest to explore it further.

Thanks! Yes, I was aware of this but I can't afford the £3000/year to join ECMA.
While it'd be nice to get involved, I'm afraid I just don't have the time to get involved at the moment. To do it properly is going to take weeks of time (not to mention implementing the spec that got decided on) and can't really see how I can spare that time :(
