For the Seeed Wio LTE
My understanding is that it is an LTE IoT module that can work in the US.
1- Do I need to buy a SIM card for using it with a Mobile operator in US?
2- How can I know whether the mobile operator (AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint) is supporting the LTE IoT?
Yes, the LTE module should work in the US - there is a version advertised as being specifically for the US: https://www.seeedstudio.com/Wio-LTE-US-Version-4G%2C-Cat.1%2C-GNSS%2C-Espruino-Compatible-p-2957.html
You'll need a SIM card, but I can't be any more help about what mobile operators support it - you'd be best off asking Seeed directly using the 'Questions' link on the page above. Assuming your phone's SIM card is the same size you could give that a try though, and if it works then you'd be pretty sure that the carrier in question supports it.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
