My espruino's locked itself up in reset.
what I mean by this is that whenever I connect to it by usb or bluetooth, it doesn't show up as a device
but the red and blue LEDs are dimly turned on - which is what happens during reset.
Can you try and firmware update over USB (so entering bootloader mode)? That will usually fix it.
Any idea how it happened? Were you using the flash library?
No, I wasn't using the flash library.
And also, the bootloader mode doesn't work.
I soldered a bluetooth module to my board, and it worked just fine.
But after a few hours the permanent reset occurred
Were you doing anything else? Did you connect any other hardware?
It's also worth trying another USB lead - just in case. Sometimes they can have dodgy connections.
Seems very strange that it would just stop working of its own accord.
Do you have a USB-TTL converter? If so you can re-load the bootloader and Espruino pretty easily assuming the chip itself didn't get broken somehow
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
