I first got my Bangle JS 1 in Christmas 2020. Since then my life has become un-managable.
One app and one line of code is never enough.
I tried a full digital detox for a while but my mind was always on the next app.

Then in late 2021 Bangle 2 came out.
I found myself constantly updating my git repo to get the latest apps to try them out on my personal loader.
I've done pull requests after midnight when I should be having an early night.
I have even started reading the Bangle JS forum posts in my lunch hour.
I have to admit to feeling powerless.

STEP 1 - to admit to another person that you have become addicted to your Bangle JS 2.

  • I'm addicted to the idea of the BangleJS. I haven't even got one but I read the forum during all my breaks. I've got a head full of ideas for apps and experiments. When I first found out about the watch I read up all about what can be extracted from the heart monitor signals. Already in the emulator I have played with watch faces and am writing a running app. I can't wait to get my hands on the real thing!

Oh no. This is not good, like being an alcoholic but not able to go out and by some cans of beer.

BA: Bangle JS Anonymous (tongue in cheek, but most of this is actually true)
