Will Puck.js open my Eqiva smart lock?

  • I have a puck.js doing nothing for years. Could it be programmed to open my Eqiva BLE smart door lock?

The QR safety code is on a card.

  • Yes, it definitely looks possible. There seems to be a JS library for controlling them at https://github.com/oyooyo/keyble/blob/master/keyble.js - however the protocol looks quite complex - it could take a while to get it running on Espruino...

  • Thanks @Gordon for pointing me at this github, it had not shown up in my searches. Agree with you that the protocol look quite complex. Maybe it better run it on a Pi and run an mqtt command from the puck.js?

  • Maybe it better run it on a Pi

That would be the easy option I think. It may well be possible to get it working (the code in that repo might be overly complex) but it depends how much time you're wanting to spend!
