That's awesome! So you're now using the microbit firmware as-is?
Unfortunately the microbit firmware has some odd pin mappings, so if you wanted to build your own firmware with a 1:1 mapping you'd have to tweak your pin values according to this table: https://github.com/espruino/Espruino/blob/master/boards/MICROBIT.py#L110
