what I mean that some arduino people were thinking about it before but didn't perhaps get enough people interested or the seller wanted really big order, e.g roger clark was mentioning 50,000 units here and there are plenty of other small projects so if you say this is open and you won't mind people getting it from you but flashing their own stuff then the word can be spread outside of this forum and Espruino - perhaps you should ask directly on twitter?
It is really a pain to get one with nordic chip and then lot of people are afraid to open the device and use SWD. Or even getting just nrfutil and usb toserial adapter can put people off. BTW @allObjects did you get to try Espruino on your DS-D6?
