We'd need to know what computer you have (and what, if any errors/messages you see) to be much help - however as long as you have an up to date version of Chrome and a computer from the last 5 years it's extremely likely you have everything you need.
You need to do this while you're applying power to the board - that could be your issue? Just holding it normally will have no effect.
