Thanks - that definitely looks fine.
Can you try just publishing a random message every 10 seconds on the Pico and see if that helps? And also if you keep getting the messages on the server. I'm not sure why the built-in Ping wouldn't be doing it for you, but it'd be interesting to see if that fixed it - it might be that something has happened and the Pico isn't sending anything.
