Hmm. This looks like it's not an I2C issue, but rather some very strange interpreter bugs...
A string is turning into undefined for reasons I cannot understand.
Looks like it's back to 1.91 (and I have no idea if/when I'll be able to test this on official board to confirm it happens there - these issues have left me with much less project time than I need
